  Oh yes! Yes! Yes! As soon as we drove up we were greeted by the unique and exquisite smell of smokers. The service was warm and friendly! This was the best BBQ I've tasted since I moved to Texas! Everything we had was cooked to perfection with real wood logs...and you can definitely taste the delicious smoked flavor!
  
  Don't pass it up, we almost did! Stop by and see what I'm talking about! You're welcome! :)

  I have a "top 50 bbq joints in the US"
  List put out by 'Business Insider'. I have marked quite a few of them from my list, from Saint Simons island, GA. to Texas (there are quite a few in Texas) to Cali and everywhere in between. I live in Texas and number 2 on the list is in my town! (Stanley's famous pit BBQ)
  I can honestly say HILL COUNTRY literally "smoked" them all!!
  I asked the owner what type of wood they use?
  "What are you? Some kinda barbecuer?"
  
  -no sir I just like getting good advise from different folks along the way.
  
  "All kinds of wood. It don't matter. Only thing that matters is low heat for a long time. We cook ours for over 28 hrs.
  
  - around 200 220?
  
  "Just low it don't matter if it's 150 it'll toke back up. Don't wrap it."
  
  -fat up or down?
  
  "Don't matter"
  
  What's your rub?
  
  "Salt n Pepper. That's it. Don't mess it up.
  THIS is what BBQ supposed to taste like!"
  
  Then he ripped of a huge juicy brisket hunk (what woulda been $6 worth at any other joint) of the moist side, and gave it to me to consume right there in line!
  1 1-2lbs of brisket 1/2 lb. of giant pork ribs side of beans side of tater salad all fixins and 2 glasses of tea (one free if you pay cash) later, our meal was only $20!!
  
  I can easily say BEST RIBS EVER!!! Best BBQ experience of all time.
  Sad this is not on THE list. It's DEFINITELY on mine!!
